Scholarships Can Help You Afford College By Liz Lunn Finding a good paying, enjoyable job is getting more and more difficult. Attending college and obtaining a degree are very important if you want to fulfill your potential in the job market today. However, college can be very expensive. If you cannot afford to pay for college on your own, you are going to need financial aid to help you.
Financial aid can come in the form of grants, work study, loans or scholarships. Loans need to be repaid and may require a credit check. If your credit is less than ideal, loans may not be available, or you may pay a higher interest rate.
