How to understand video rating

Most parent just look at the package and if it look good they buy it for there kids without looking at the rating. Kids love video games, but as a parent you should be concerned about what you are exposing your children to with certain games. If your child is playing a game rated M (Mature), you may want to better understand what that game might contain. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) was established in 1994 to independently assign and enforce ratings for video games. Just as movie ratings have become an excellent reference for appropriate movies for children, video game ratings are becoming that much more valuable. Understanding video game ratings helped me make more educated and age appropriate games.

Parent should always remember that it is there reponsabily to watch what your kids play

    Products I recommend:

Many children are playing games that are exposing them to adult material at too young of ages. Before you buy video games, always research the game rating that you are purchasing and consider if you would like your child exposed to that level of content. Just like movie ratings, video game ratings can help you make more appropriate purchases for games. I have some favorite E-rated games that  are fun, will entertain your children, and keep you at ease because the content is completely safe and appropriate. I like the games below because they are all safe for children, but are also fun and challenging for the whole family!
